I managed to remember to weigh myself this morning before coffee and breakfast filled my tummy, and got a real shocker. 188.4. What?! How the heck? I’m trying to lose, Mr. Scale, not gain. 😶 My weight gain certainly wasn’t from lack of mobility this week. I have been busier than a bee in a field of flowers. Sure, I’ve eaten out most of the week, but that was one meal a day, and I didn’t eat much. So what caused it? Maybe stress? Lord knows I’ve had plenty of that.
I’m not giving up, though. Today I have a “me” day- chiropractor, car wash, oil change, laundry, getting my niece’s birthday box sent out. Not really a “me” day, but there’s no physical therapy appointments or caregivee-related appointments. I did start EMeals back up this week. Tonight is enchiladas. They are pretty simple to make, and I’m hoping that they taste delicious. Maybe by getting back to home cooking, the weight will start to come off again instead of piling back on.
