| Honorable Mention Winner - Madison McClarren |
by Madison McClarren A mysterious forest, not a sound. Rolling hills like unwinding yarn, settled in, a little barn. Tall lush grass from the meadow, a fox flashes by like lightning. In the mountain's trees, a bluebird sings. Down by the beach, the shells tell secrets, of a wonderful place. In the city, the people, some grimy, some glum, take us out of our boxes, so we can see ourselves, the gifts inside, more clearly. I'd love to share these places with you, come on by and stay a while. |
