Third Place Winner - Perry L. Angelo![]() |
by Perry L. Angelo Welcome, To America. It is like no other... The beauty and magic This country holds are as Innumerable As grains of sand Between your toes. From the Mountains in Connecticut... To the Break in Hawaii. The majesty this country Has had bestowed, Is indescribable. Because if this country Could talk, it would boast About its beautiful deserts And glorious wheatfields. It would say That the waters in Florida are as beautiful as a beam of light bursting through a crystal window, shining down a rainbow pattern. This land is vast but If it could talk, Our country would say It was our home. |
